23 1/4″ but it extends the tiniest more on the sides, maybe 23 3/4″ — & — remember you’ll need to open the door. Someone commented about the time. Doesn’t bother me. I love this machine. I gained so much space and my clothes are dry. My only problem is wrinkled shirts, still trying to figure that one out.
I have had mine for two weeks. I live in NV where it’s hot and in an RV. I was worried about the same thing but have had no problems. Read the directions and play with the loads. I washed a pair of jeans three shirts and some underwear. It was too big to use the wash/dry setting. I had to put the dryer on for 30 more minutes. Otherwise I am very pleased.
You can place this stackable set in your rv with no issues. If you’d like to you can purchase a floor mounting bracket so help secure your set. Most of our customers don’t need to secure them to the rv. They stay put during travel.
Hello, this stackable washer and dryer comes with the power cords and water supply lines needed to run this machine. You will need to purchase a standard 4-inch vent hose to vent the dryer. If you plan to Stack them like the picture shows, then you will need to purchase a Rear Stacking Kit which allows the Dryer to be stacked safely on top of the washer. No recommended. Better if you plug one machine in, use it, unplug that machine the plug in and use the other machine. You could use an adapter ONLT if you use ONE machine at a time. Otherwise you will trip a breaker.
Mine arrive damaged. Entire top glass lid was shattered with glass everywhere in the packaging. I requested a return, and it took several days for UPS to pick it up. Then it took 10 days for Amazon to refund me the money (it sat in the return warehouse for 8 days). Also, I had to contact Amazon to request my refund because they didn’t automatically refund my credit card as soon as it was picked up, nor as soon as it was delivered. I paid interest on my credit card for all of that. Pretty inefficient.
It says “for camping” in the description, so naturally people off grid or camping might not have a faucet. I also wanted to know if I need to hook it up to a faucet to use it. So, no, it doesn’t defeat the purpose of “automatic” when the only other option is completely manual machines that use no power source.
